Frat Iqbal is Director of Data Interchangeability and Strategy at Mount Sinai Health System. He is currently engaged in healthcare transformation projects using clinical data, data science and analytics. Frat joined Mount Sinai from United Healthcare where he led the National engagement and strategy for Lab and Clinical data Interoperability with Payers and Health Systems. In addition, he worked on predictive analytics that supported the Clinical Integrated Networks (CIN) and Accountable Care Organizations (ACO’s) to improve healthcare for attributed patients. Before United Healthcare, Frat worked at NYU Langone Health System managing their HIE, Meaningful Use, Epic Care and Optum Analytics initiatives. In addition to his work experience, Frat has been active in promoting interoperability Nationally and served as youngest Board Member on Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC), a consortium of 50+ National and Local HIE’s working with CMS, NCQA and HL7 to improve Clinical Data Interoperability and Standards. Frat has an Bachelors of engineering and a Graduate degree in management from Columbia University.
